What Does it Feel Like to be Neurodivergent ?
Snowglobe
Some days my brain’s a snowglobe,
all shaken, swirling bright.
Other days the channels flip
remote control out of sight.
A boat that’s sinking just a bit,
still paddling toward the shore.
Or fireworks cracking in my head,
too many sparks to store.
A picnic with a toddler’s joy,
excited, lost, distracted…
A hyperactive turtle too,
slow, but still impacted.
So what’s it like? It changes fast
depends on food, on sleep, on mood.
But one thing’s sure: this brain of mine
keeps life both wild and good.
